Global Account Manager-Wind Energy & Aerospace Composites

European Business Director

Responsibilities include:

  • Fully responsible and accountable for the wind energy & direct aerospace business in Europe.
  • Outside of Europe responsible for the global accounts business in coordination with the local sales team.
  • Acts as a consultant on any local wind energy & aerospace accounts globally.
  • One of the main actors responsible for the development and implementation of specific strategies to meet Chem-Trend’s ambitious growth targets for its wind energy and aerospace business.
  • Responsible for training and developing the local sales resource focused on the wind energy and aerospace markets.
  • Responsible for identifying new business projects with the main global wind energy and aerospace customer base and developing / implementing projects to deliver aggressive sales growth.

Previous work experience, educational background, and qualifications should consist of:

  • Educated to degree level with international business experience.
  • Excellent high level sales and key account management skills and experience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Proven ability to work in multi disciplinary teams with international colleagues at various levels within the organization.
  • Strong ability to deliver results when leading teams of people not directly reporting to them.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and preferably German language skills.
  • Happy to travel weekly on a European and Global basis.
  • Driven, results-oriented-professional that exhibits proven history of accomplishments in product or industry segment management on a global scale.
