Chem-Trend Launches High Performance Curing Bladder Treatment for Tire Industry
Addition to Mono-LubeŽ Family cures at room temperature, extends bladder life up to 40 percent
Howell, Mich., June 3, 2009 - Chem-Trend, a global manufacturer of release agents and other process chemical specialties, announced today that it has launched Mono-Lube® 1111, a new, high performance tire curing bladder treatment for the tire manufacturing industry.
Initial field tests have shown that tire curing bladders coated with Mono-Lube® 1111 can extend bladder life up to 40 percent, resulting in significant cost savings since the bladders would need to be replaced less frequently. Mono-Lube® 1111 cures in just one hour at room temperature and provides similar performance to coatings that are baked onto the surface of a curing bladder. It can be applied by various methods including brush, sponge or spray application.
Mono-Lube® 1111 is the latest addition to the Mono-Lube® family of products for the tire manufacturing industry. Chem-Trend’s full line of products for the tire industry includes inside tire paints, outside tire paints, curing bladder coatings and the Mono-Coat® brand of tire mold treatments.
