Chem-Trend expands its portfolio of NSF registered products

Maisach, Germany – With Lusin® Protect O 45 F, Chem-Trend introduces its new anti-corrosion agent specifically developed for use in the thermoplastic industry in and around food processing areas. Lusin® Protect O 45 F meets NSF H1 registration guidelines and is therefore particularly suited for the treatment of metal surfaces and tools that are used in the manufacturing process of products such as beverage- and baby bottles, toys, tooth brushes, coffee machines and other household articles.

With Lusin® Protect O 45 F, Chem-Trend expands its portfolio of products suitable for use in non-food contact applications. Further available products for similar thermoplastic moulding process applications include Lusin® Alro OL 202 F, Chem-Trend’s recently launched mould release agent, Lusin® Clean L101 F, a new mould cleaner for the removal of plastic residue from moulds and dies, and Lusin® Clean L 52 F, a newly developed surface cleaner and degreaser.

“Manufacturers of thermoplastic products are familiar with the difficulties in producing large quantities of products at a consistently high quality level”, says René Gräwe, Global Business Development Director Thermoplastic, Chem-Trend. “Our Lusin® branded products support customers in every step of the production process: They ensure the easy removal of the moulded parts, supply moulds and other parts with long-term protection against corrosion and moisture, and keep machines and tools in optimal condition.”

Lusin® Protect O 45 F dissipates the condensation that occurs during the cool-down process of the mould, and offers reliable corrosion protection for up to twelve months, depending on the environmental conditions. Lusin® Protect O 45 F is available in aerosol form or as refillable loose goods for use in a variety of spray or dip applications.

Lusin® Protect O 45 F became available globally in March 2010.
