Lusin® Purge Compounds Increase Productivity and Reduce Operational Costs
Lusin® purge compounds have been developed to specifically address the issues of scrap, equipment downtime and low resource utilization rates mainly resulting from color and material change-overs in thermoplastic operations. A wide range of Lusin® purge compounds have been developed to allow for an optimized approach to meeting the challenges that different polymers, processing temperatures, molding processes and equipment set-ups create.
Lusin® Clean 1060
Lusin® Clean 1060 is a highly efficient purging compound developed for the cleaning of screws, cylinders and hot runner systems used in the processing of parts made from polyolefin. Lusin® Clean 1060 is especially recommended for color or material change as well as for the removal of black spots, carbon residues and cracked materials. Lusin® Clean 1060 can be used at processing temperatures up to 290°C (550°F).
Lusin® Clean 1061
Lusin® Clean 1061 is a high efficiency purging compound developed for the cleaning of screws, cylinders and hot runner systems used in the processing of parts made from polyolefin. Lusin® Clean 1061 is extremely effective for use in performing color or material changes, as well, it is especially recommended for the removal of black spots, carbon residues and cracked materials. It is suggested that Lusin® Clean 1061 be used as freezing mixture for machine shutdown procedures during the weekends or other extended periods of machine downtime as a preventative maintenance application. Lusin® Clean 1061 can be used at processing temperatures up to 290°C (550°F).
Lusin® Clean 1070
Lusin® Clean 1070 is a highly efficient purging compound developed for the processing of parts made from PET, and is especially effective for transparent parts. Lusin® Clean 1070 is particularly recommended for color or material change as well as for the removal of black spots, carbon residues and cracked materials. It is formulated for the effective cleaning of screws, cylinders and hot runner systems.
Lusin® Clean 1090
Lusin® Clean 1090 can be used as purging compound for PC applications (color change and removal of black spots). It is also suitable for the transition from PC to PMMA without causing black spots or milky traces during the reduction of the process temperatures.
Lusin® Clean 1500
Lusin® Clean 1500 is a purging compound concentrate used for color change and removal of black spots in polycarbonate applications. It is suitable for hot runner systems, highly efficient and does not contaminate parts produced after its use.
Lusin® Clean G 300
Lusin® Clean G 300 is an extrusion grade ready-to-use purge compound designed for use with most engineered resins (ABS, POM, PA, PET, PBT, and PPO) as well as suitable for PVC and PMMA. It can be used for processing temperatures up to 300°C (570°F).
Lusin® Clean G 301
Lusin® Clean G 301 is a ready-to-use extrusion grade purge compound designed for use with polyolefins (PE, PP and TPO). It can be used for processing temperatures up to 300°C (570°F).
Lusin® Clean G 315
Lusin® Clean G 315 is a ready to use purging compound that has been specially developed for use with the processing of polyolefin (PP and PE): materials with a low melt flow index. G 315 is NSF registered for use in food grade applications.
Lusin® Clean G 320
Lusin® Clean G 320 is a ready-to-use product formulated for use with thermoplastic injection molding of engineering grade polymers up to 320°C (605°F).
Lusin® Clean G 410
Lusin® Clean G 410 is a ready-to-use product that has been developed specifically to support the removal of HT polymers from the screw and barrel assembly. Can be used with materials processed up to 410°C (770°F) and is ideal for removing PEEK, PSU, PPS, etc.
