Cleaners
Any molder of composite products - class A finished parts or otherwise
- will tell you that part quality is only as good as the quality
of the mold it's pulled from. Every Chemlease® mold cleaner
is specially developed to cut through the most difficult mold buildup
while minimizing abrasion to the mold. Residue is minimal and a
light final wipe is often all that is required in preparation for
mold sealer application.
Solvent-based mold cleaners
Cleaning a mold that has been using wax-based release agent is easy
with these cleaners. The result is a mold surface that is perfectly
receptive to a switch to a Chemlease® semi-permanent
release system.
Water-based
mold cleaners
The new Hydrolease® Cleaner has been formulated to cut
through wax and previously applied semi-permanent coatings and will
also remove light styrene hazing associated with polyester molding.
Hydrolease® Cleaners have been carefully formulated so that
they will not damage the surface of a class "A" finish
mold.
