Chem-Trend Voted a “Top Workplace” in Michigan

November 30, 2015

Chem-Trend, a global leader in the development and production of high-performance release agents, purging compounds and other ancillary molding products, has been named a 2015 Detroit Free Press Top 100 Workplace for four consecutive years.

Driven by an anonymous employee survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics, Chem-Trend placed seventh out of 35 total honorees in the midsize business category, marking its third top 10 appearance in a row. To complete the survey, employees were asked to comment on overall satisfaction, culture, pay and benefits, leadership, training and advancement opportunities, flexibility and amenities.

“Our people are our difference, adding value in every area of our business, and it’s their passion, enthusiasm and dedication that makes this honor possible for the fourth year in a row,” said Devanir Moraes, Chem-Trend president and CEO. “With a focus on continuous improvement, Chem-Trend employees utilize the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and Chem-Trend values to build a foundation for success during and after work hours.”

The only chemical company named to the list, Chem-Trend is one of 1,500 companies representing a total of more than 61,000 Michigan workers who participated in the 2015 survey.
