New NSF Registered Release Agent for use in the Thermoplastic Industry

Chem-Trend expands its portfolio of NSF registered products

Maisach, Germany – With Lusin® Alro OL 202 F, Chem-Trend introduces its NSF registered release agent specifically developed for use in the thermoplastic industry. The new product conforms to NSF H1 requirements, as well as to the EU plastic directive 2002/72/EG. Owing to its listing, Lusin® Alro OL 202 F is suitable for use in the food industry in non-food contact applications according to European as well as U.S. regulations. The silicon free mould release agent is applicable for temperatures up to 200 degrees Centigrade/ 392 degrees Fahrenheit and can also be used as a lubricant.

With Lusin® Alro OL 202 F, Chem-Trend expands its portfolio of NSF registered products for the thermoplastic industry. Also available are Lusin® Clean L101 F, Chem-Trend’s recently launched mould cleaner for the removal of plastic residue from moulds and dies, and Lusin® Clean L 52 F, a new surface cleaner and degreaser that is used to remove wax, grease, or oil from plastic or glass surfaces as well as from machine parts.

Since Lusin® Alro OL 202 F conforms to NSF H1 requirements for use in the food industry in non-food contact applications, the new product is particularly suited for applications in the manufacturing process of products such as beverage- and baby bottles, toys, tooth brushes, coffee machines and other household articles worldwide. It can also be used in the production of cosmetic products.
